Report: Tony Romo to be active by Week 11 at the latest
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and it remains unlikely that he will be active. However, one report claims Romo is very close to making his return.
According to Clarence Hill of the Star-Telegram, Romo still has a chance to be in uniform on Sunday and will “certainly” be active in Week 11.
Romo could be active for the Steelers and if not the Steelers he will certainly be active for the Ravens next week.

If Romo is added to the 53-man roster either this weekend or the following, he will serve as a backup to Dak Prescott. The rookie has clearly earned the starting job now after leading the Cowboys to a 7-1 record, but it remains to be seen how short the leash will be if Prescott begins to struggle.
The Cowboys are not going to mess with their chemistry as long as they keep winning. Some recent comments Prescott made indicate he has changed the way he feels about being the team’s starter, so time will tell if he feels any added pressure with Romo breathing down his neck.
