Tony Romo may have opportunity to call two Cowboys games
The 2017 NFL schedule was released on Thursday, leaving many to analyze and predict how their favorite team will do. While it’s too early to say which games will be interesting and which won’t, we do know two particular ones that could hold some intrigue for a different reason.
Tony Romo has decided to become an announcer for CBS after more than a decade spent with the Dallas Cowboys. And the former Cowboys quarterback could have the chance to call two Cowboys games in 2017.
Here’s a look at the Cowboys’ schedule:

The Cowboys host the Chiefs on Sunday, Nov. 5, with the game being televised by CBS. They also host the Chargers on Thanksgiving — another game televised by CBS.
Romo is set to be a part of CBS’ top broadcasting team, which likely means his unit will get the assignment for both games. Hearing how he talks about his former team will be interesting. It will also be interesting to see whether or not the Cowboys choose to honor him either day, especially considering how much Jerry Jones loves him.
