Tony Romo was absolutely crushed on a major hit by Bobby Wagner during the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, but he amazingly did not miss any time.
Romo was drilled by Wagner after throwing an incompletion on third down and was very slow to get up. The Cowboys had their punt blocked and returned for a touchdown by Seattle, which gave the ball right back to Dallas. Romo did not miss any time and came back in for the next possession, leading the Cowboys on an 80-yard touchdown drive to make it 10-7 Seattle.
It looks like Romo’s throwing elbow may have taken the worst of the hit:
I have no idea how he was able to come out and keep throwing after that hit, but I have a lot of respect for him for his ability to do so.
