Tony Romo not too bothered by never winning a Super Bowl
One criticism that Tony Romo will never be able to escape is that he never won a Super Bowl as a player. That fact does not seem like it bothers him too deeply.
NFL Network debuted its “A Football Life” story on Romo Friday night. The program included some great clips of Romo and plenty of anecdotes, such as this one.
College coaches suggested a position change for @tonyromo, but that motivated him more.

Romo also addressed the big omission from his career resumé: the lack of a Super Bowl win. Romo said on the program that he looks at all the things he did accomplish, and that helps put the lack of a ring in perspective.
Tony Romo: “Some people are like, ‘How do you feel? You didn’t have a Super Bowl or you didn’t have this.’ I’m like, are you kidding? You think I had it bad or rough? I’m the luckiest guy who has ever walked. That’s how I feel. I wake up in the morning like, thank you.”

There’s nothing Romo can do now about not winning a ring, so the only way he can continue to live a happy and satisfying life is to take the approach he has. That’s a good way of looking at things, especially for a guy who went from undrafted to becoming the Dallas Cowboys’ all-time leader in passing touchdowns.
