Tony Romo leaves with injury after getting sacked (Video)
Tony Romo left Sunday’s Cowboys-Eagles game in the third quarter after landing on his left shoulder following a strip-sack, and he broke his collarbone on the play, the team announced.
Romo felt pressure on a second down play in Eagles territory and lost the ball. He was pulled down to the ground and landed on his left shoulder. Romo immediately grabbed his left shoulder:
Romo suffered a season-ending broken left collarbone in 2010. As he walked off the field Sunday, he mouthed, “it’s broken,” indicating that history had repeated itself:
