
Tony Sparano died of heart disease, according to a medical examiner.
The Minnesota Vikings offensive line coach was found dead on Sunday morning by his wife. The two were getting ready to head to church when Sparano’s wife found him unresponsive in the kitchen. She was unable to revive him.
The Hennepin County medical examiner officially determined that Sparano died from arteriosclerotic heart disease.
The 56-year-old reportedly went to the hospital on Thursday after complaining of chest pains, but he was released.
