Travis Kelce was ejected from Sunday’s Chiefs-Jaguars game for throwing a towel at an official in protest of a no-call.
The Chiefs had a 2nd and 4 situation at the Jacksonville 12 in the fourth quarter when Nick Foles attempted a pass to Kelce in the end zone. Kelce felt a pass interference call was warranted but he did not receive it.
He was livid with an official and even threw a towel at the referee:
Kelce was penalized 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct after protesting the call, and his towel toss resulted in a second unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and automatic ejection.
The 30 penalty yards resulted in a 3rd and 34 situation for KC, which eventually kicked a field goal to increase their lead to 19-7.
