Travis Kelce recently said he is nowhere close to thinking about retirement, but it sounds like the Kansas City Chiefs star knows what his next career move will be when he finally does hang up the cleats.

During the latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce discussed the possibility of buying a stake in the Philadelphia Eagles. Travis said he would not be interested in that because he wants to become a broadcaster after he is done playing.

Travis cited how Tom Brady has run into issues with becoming an analyst for FOX Sports and trying to purchase a stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.

“And, also, you can’t call a game or do anything like that (if you buy a team). Because the whole Tom Brady thing — he wanted to have a minority stake in the Raiders and it, like, messed with his TV deal. … I want to broadcast when I’m done playing,” Kelce said.

Travis is 34 and has acknowledged that he is getting toward the end of his playing career, even if he still feels he has plenty left in the tank. He also said he has several opportunities outside of football waiting for him.

Jason landed a prominent media job after he officially retired from the NFL, and there is no question networks would line up to sign Travis as well.
