Did Troy Aikman take subtle jab at Dallas Cowboys over Derrick Henry?
Did Troy Aikman take a subtle jab at the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night? That’s how it seemed.
Aikman was on the call for ESPN’s telecast of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Baltimore Ravens game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. Derrick Henry, much like Lamar Jackson, had a big game for the Ravens.
Henry really helped put the game out of reach when he broke an 81-yard run in the third quarter to help get his Ravens out of trouble from near their end zone up 27-10.

The Ravens scored a touchdown four plays later to make it 34-10 after the extra point.
Not long after Henry’s big run, Aikman sung the running back’s praises, and seemed to jab the Cowboys.
“There’s gotta be a lot of teams out there that had opportunities to bring in Derrick Henry that are kind of kicking themselves for not doing it,” Aikman said. “But he has been an absolute perfect fit for this Ravens attack.”
The Cowboys were frequently tied to Henry over the offseason. The veteran running back trains in the Dallas area and wanted the Cowboys to draft him out of Alabama. But according to team owner Jerry Jones, the Cowboys could not afford Henry, so Baltimore ended up getting a steal. Aikman, who starred at quarterback for the Cowboys, has not forgotten.
