Dolphins fans went nuts over Tua Tagovailoa’s smart decision
Miami Dolphins fans were absolutely thrilled on Sunday with one play from Tua Tagovailoa in the team’s Week 8 game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Early in the third quarter, Tagovailoa used his legs to convert a big 3rd and 10 in Arizona territory. That was not what most excited Dolphins fans, though; instead, it was how Tagovailoa slid once he had made it to the marker, completely avoiding the hit.
Dolphins fans went nuts and chanted Tagovailoa’s name over the play.

Tagovailoa’s well-documented history of concussions has fans cringing a bit every time he takes a hit. Bear in mind that on the play where he suffered a concussion earlier this year, he probably could have slid and avoided the hit that knocked him out of action for nearly two months.
Tagovailoa looked to be in good form on Sunday, as the Dolphins offense was effective against Arizona. The more hits he can avoid, the better, and Miami fans will keep loving it.
