Twitter thinks Packers may need a new kicker
The Green Bay Packers have been struggling offensively through the early part of the 2018 season, and they got no help from their special teams unit early in Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.
With Aaron Rodgers struggling again and multiple wide receivers inactive, the Packers were once again finding it tough to score points. To make matters worse, veteran kicker Mason Crosby missed three kicks that were not very difficult early in the game.
Crosby’s first miss came from 41 yards out, his second from 42 and his third from 38. When you factor in that the game was indoors in Detroit, the misses look even worse. Although Crosby had missed just one field goal coming into the game, Twitter was not kind to him.

It didn’t end there. Crosby went on to miss a fourth kick and an extra point.
Crosby has been reliable for the Packers over the years, but we’ve seen kickers lose their jobs for a lot less.
