Tyler Boyd signs with AFC team
Tyler Boyd has found a new team, and the veteran is joining what has shaped up to be a loaded wide receiver corps.
Boyd on Tuesday agreed to a 1-year deal with the Tennessee Titans that is worth up to $4.5 million, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

As Fowler notes, the deal reunites Boyd with new Titans head coach Brian Callahan, who was the offensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals from 2019-2023.
Boyd was a productive player over his eight seasons with the Bengals. He had 67 catches for 667 yards and 2 touchdowns last season despite Joe Burrow missing nearly half of the year with an injury. Boyd had back-to-back seasons with 1,000-plus yards in 2018 and 2019.
The Titans already have DeAndre Hopkins and signed Calvin Ridley this offseason. Boyd should be a great No. 3 option in their passing game.
Boyd visited with at least one other AFC team in free agency, but he ultimately chose Tennessee. The familiarity with Callahan was likely a factor in the 29-year-old’s decision.
