Tyreek Hill offered a great quote about the Kansas City Chiefs’ impressive comeback against the Houston Texans in the playoffs on Sunday.
The Chiefs fell behind 24-0 in the first half against the Texans but stormed back with 41 unanswered points to take the lead. They eventually won 51-31 and will host the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Championship Game next weekend.
Hill was asked whether he has ever scored 41 unanswered points before and said only in a video game.

I asked Tyreek Hill if he’s ever scored 41 unanswered points before. “Yeah I have. In Madden. But no. Not in real life. Never.”

Of course! When else would someone make that kind of comeback?
Well, for Patrick Mahomes, he says he had nearly done so in high school.
Patrick Mahomes told me he once scored 39 unanswered the second half in high school. So I guess he’s used to it.

For most of those players, they will never be part of a more impressive comeback. They scored so many points they ran out of fireworks.
What a choke job by the Texans.
