Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt was accused of assaulting a woman at a hotel back in February, and there is now footage of the incident.
In a surveillance video that was obtained by TMZ, Hunt is allegedly shown arguing with a 19-year-old woman outside of his room at The Metropolitan at the 9. The confrontation turned physical, and Hunt was shown shoving the woman to the ground and later kicking her when she was crouched over.
Hunt did not face charges or disciplinary action from the NFL over the incident. He denied any wrongdoing, and a friend of the Pro Bowler said the woman called Hunt a racial slur during the argument. Police reports were made against both Hunt and the woman, but no arrests were made at the scene.
It’s unclear if the NFL had seen the surveillance footage prior to TMZ releasing it, but the situation is shaping up to look eerily similar to the one we saw with Ray Rice several years ago.
