Vince Young apologizes for butchering Harold Landry’s name
Vince Young is acknowledging the error of his ways in pronunciation.
The former Tennessee Titans quarterback had a truly cringeworthy moment on Friday when he came to the stage during the NFL Draft to announce the team’s second-round pick, ex-Boston College edge rusher Harold Landry. The problem? Young struggled to pronounce Landry’s name, calling him “Honor” and “Arnold” and basically everything but his actual first name of “Harold.”
Either someone did Vince Young dirty with their awful handwriting or that man has no idea how to pronounce the name Harold pic.twitter.com/bnd9kNvY5E

After the embarrassing gaffe, Young took to Twitter to apologize to Landry.

Fortunately, there were no hard feelings on the part of the 21-year-old, as both he and the Titans tweeted back at the ex-Heisman winner saying it was all OK.
All good dog! I’m a damn Tennessee Titan, LETS GET ITT!!! https://t.co/mqET1vhFWU

It's all good, VY! We still love you. Can't wait to get Landry in the building. #TitanUp

Regardless though, Young, who’s now 34, may still have a difficult time living down the blunder since the Internet proved to be a much less forgiving bunch.
