Vince Young roasted for butchering Harold Landry’s name at draft
Vince Young appeared at the NFL Draft on Friday to announce the Tennessee Titans’ second-round pick, which was supposed to be a nice moment for him. Instead, it turned into embarrassment.
The former Heisman Trophy winner struggled to pronounce the name of the Titans’ selection, which was edge rusher Harold Landry. Take a look:
Either someone did Vince Young dirty with their awful handwriting or that man has no idea how to pronounce the name Harold pic.twitter.com/bnd9kNvY5E

It sure sounded like he called him “Honor” Landry rather than “Harold.” It’s quite possible that the name was sloppily handwritten on a card given to Young, and he struggled to read the card. At least that’s the theory we’re hoping is true, because it would be pretty bad if Young were unfamiliar with the spelling of the name “Harold.”
Folks on Twitter had a great time reacting to the mispronunciation. Take a look.
What Vince Young? Honor Landry? Lmao

Vince Young couldn't have butchered Harold Landry's name more if he tried.

Vince Young announced Harold Landry's name the way a barista writes names on a Starbucks cup.
