Tom Brady has buttered up Von Miller and thinks that will offer him protection for when they play in the future.
Both men attended Saturday’s Kentucky Derby, with Miller serving as a field reporter for NBC. The Denver Broncos defensive star interviewed Brady and got the New England Patriots quarterback’s pick for the race. At the end of the interview, Miller told Brady that he knew they could be nice to each other. Brady used that to say Miller can’t hit him hard now when they play.

Miller has terrorized Brady on the field as anyone who watched the AFC Championship Game during the 2015 season, the season the Broncos won the Super Bowl, could tell you. Miller was all over Brady that game, recording 2.5 sacks and four quarterback hits. Brady would like a break from that.
