Vontaze Burfict’s career reportedly in jeopardy after latest concussion
Vontaze Burfict’s career reportedly is in jeopardy after the Cincinnati Bengals linebacker suffered his latest concussion.
Burfict was concussed during the Bengals’ loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. That concussion was the seventh documented concussion of Burfict’s career. He also was concussed in Week 13 and missed two games, so the latest marked his second in about three weeks.
ESPN’s Kat Terrell and Adam Schefter say the concussions put Burfict’s career in question.
Bengals’ LB Vontaze Burfict sustained a seventh career concussion Sunday, and second in a month, which could put his career in jeopardy, per @Kat_Terrell.
