The NFL continues to establish a case against Vontaze Burfict in light of their decision to suspend him for the remainder of the season.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared video of the Oakland Raiders linebacker’s second helmet-to-helmet hit in the game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Here’s the other helmet-to-helmet hit that Vontaze Burfict delivered during Sunday’s game: second quarter, 13:24 left, and Burfict launches and blasts Colts’ RB Nyheim Hines away from the play. Later came the hit on Colts’ TE Jack Doyle that got him ejected and suspended. pic.twitter.com/8Dvb7xPZgo

The camera angles make this harder to see than the one on Jack Doyle, which was as blatant as it gets. There was certainly something that happened here, and what’s more, Burfict seems to launch himself at running back Nyheim Hines well away from the developing play.
Burfict intends to appeal his suspension. Expect the NFL to produce things like this to back up their decision.
