Warren Sapp accused of biting, stomping on girlfriend’s head
Warren Sapp has been charged with three counts of domestic violence stemming from a fight with his girlfriend in Las Vegas two months ago. The 7-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle is accused of biting and stomping on his girlfriend’s head during the altercation, which began at a hotel and carried over to her home.
According to TMZ, Sapp and his girlfriend got into a fight at the M Resort in Las Vegas on April 28. Sapp allegedly threw a drink in his girlfriend’s face. They left the hotel and drove to his girlfriend’s condo, and things got violent during the car ride and continued when they got home.
Sapp’s girlfriend allegedly told him to get out of the car during their ride, and he responded by supposedly biting her middle finger. They fought when they got to the condo, with the girlfriend admitting she threw a belt at the Pro Football Hall of Famer. When she ended up on the ground, he allegedly stepped on her face while wearing sandals.
Word came out last week that Sapp was being investigated in the matter, but he was not being charged at the time. Now he is. Sapp also recently pleaded guilty to assaulting prostitutes at the Super Bowl.
