The Washington Redskins could be facing another quarterback crisis.
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, sources say that some members of the offense have begun to raise complaints about the play of quarterback Kirk Cousins.
The players are reportedly most aggrieved by Cousins’s indecision and shaky play. Among his indiscretions on Sunday? He threw an interception in the end zone with his team up three in a game they eventually lost.
“At least he’d play with poise,” the source told Florio when asked if Colt McCoy would be preferable.
Cousins is known to be playing for a long-term contract. He’s doing nothing at all to help his cause. Perhaps the organization has the right idea with regards to the way they’re handling him and his situation.
