Alex Smith gave us a glimpse of how he’s doing in his recovery from a brutal broken leg suffered last year.
The Washington Redskins quarterback was filmed walking on FedExField prior to Monday night’s game against the Chicago Bears.

Smith is still moving slowly and not smoothly, but at least he did not need any aid to walk. He only had a brace removed from his leg in July. And this video shows how silly any thought of him being ready to play this season would have been.
Smith is 35 and made it sound recently like he is not 100 percent sure he will play again. The injury he suffered against the Houston Texans on Nov. 18 was horrific.
