The Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Aidan O’Connell was a virtual non-factor Monday against the Kansas City Chiefs. It didn’t matter.
The Raiders upset the Chiefs 20-14 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
The Chiefs were playing at home for a chance to clinch the AFC West with a victory. But instead of sealing the division title, Kansas City lost the third of their last four contests.
One stat from the Chiefs’ defeat against the Raiders went viral on social media after the result went final. O’Connell and the Raiders failed to complete a single pass throughout the game’s final three quarters.
Las Vegas Raiders QB Aidan O'Connell did not complete a pass in 3 entire quarters and the Raiders beat the Chiefs 20-14.

O’Connell was 9/11 for 62 yards in the first quarter. The rookie QB went 0/10 the rest of the way.
The Raiders got the bulk of their scoring on a pair of defensive touchdowns before the halftime break.
The first was off a scoop and score by Raiders defensive lineman Bilal Nichols after a Chiefs fumble. The second was a pick-six by Raiders cornerback Jack Johnson, who pulled off a savage celebration after his score.

The Raiders also got a breakout performance from running back Zamir White. The second-year pro more than doubled his career high in rushing yards with 145 on 22 carries.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was understandably not happy during the contest. The reigning NFL MVP was seen lambasting his teammates on the Chiefs’ sideline midgame.
The Chiefs fell to 4-4 at Arrowhead Stadium this season. They went a combined 10-1 at home last year during the regular season and playoffs.
