Zach Ertz leaves game with possible rib injury
The Philadelphia Eagles cannot catch a break on the injury front.
The Eagles lost tight end Zach Ertz, at least for a drive, as he went to the locker room after taking a hit against the Dallas Cowboys.
Zach Ertz ran off the field, running to locker room. Remember he took a big hit earlier

Ertz was holding his ribcage area as he ran to the locker room, suggesting that he may have hurt his ribs.
The Eagles could hardly afford this in such a big game. The tight end takes away a weapon from Philadelphia’s badly-diminished passing game. They already lost most of their receivers to injury anyway, and Ertz was probably the most reliable weapon Carson Wentz had left. If you thought it was bad before — and many did — it might be even worse without Ertz.
