Elin Nordegren selling Florida mansion for nearly $50 million

Elin Nordegren

Elin Nordegren is poised to cash in big on the hot real estate market.

Nordegren, the ex-wife of Tiger Woods, has listed her mansion in North Palm Beach, Fla. for $49.5 million.

The complex is billed as having 11 bedrooms, 16.5 bathrooms, and spans nearly 26,000 square feet. It is described as being built in the style of the British West Indies. The home overlooks the ocean and features a gym, theater and wine cellar, among many other desirable features.

Here’s more about the home, via the Wall Street Journal:

There’s also a cabana house with a bar, a billiards table and a summer kitchen. A separate guesthouse is configured as two apartments, each with its own living room and kitchenette. Amenities include a putting green, a fire pit and a sport court for basketball and pickleball.

The main residence, completed in 2014, has several rooms with retractable walls of glass doors, a roof deck, a wine cellar, a theater, two kitchens and a subterranean gym with an observation window that looks directly into an outdoor swimming pool with a water slide.

Nordegren bought the land for just over $12 million in 2011 after finalizing her divorce. She actually blew up a monstrous home on the property in order to construct her dream home. The home was built in 2014. Nordegren is selling the home because she is downsizing, a spokesperson said.
