Ernie Els has a horrible case of the yips (Video)
Ernie Els has won 68 tournaments since he began his professional golfing career in 1989, but he is proving this week that even the most seasoned veterans can have issues between the ears.
After struggling through one of the worst putting disasters in PGA history at the first hole of the Masters on Thursday, Els once again missed a short putt at the start of the second round.
Amazingly enough, that was another two-foot putt. If you thought that was tough to watch, check out the seven-putt Els had for a 10 on Thursday.
For whatever reason, this has been a problem for Els at various points throughout his impressive career. He also got a bad case of the yips at the British Open two years ago and ended up with a triple-bogey. We feel your pain, Ernie.
