Graham DeLaet has clubs lost by airline on way to British Open
PGA golfer Graham DeLaet had to borrow a set of clubs to play a practice round at St. Andrews on Monday morning. He can thank Aer Lingus for that.
Apparently the Ireland-based airline lost DeLaet’s clubs, and it sounds like he was not given much information regarding their whereabouts.
Ok @AerLingus, enough is enough. I kind of need my golf clubs for @TheOpen. How is it possible to not even know where it is? #figureitout

Fortunately, Titleist caught wind of what was going on and provided DeLaet with a set of clubs so he could get ready for The Open Championship.
Big thanks to @TitleistonTour for hooking me up with a set of hooks this morning so I could play a practice round. pic.twitter.com/xL4QJf06Cj

Lost luggage is always a risk when traveling by air. We have even seen a major champion have his clubs lost by an airline, so DeLeat is not alone. Here’s hoping his set shows up before Thursday.
