JJ Spaun saved his best for last on Sunday.
Spaun won the 125th US Open by two strokes thanks to the best putt of the week. Spaun made a birdie putt on 18 from 64.5 feet away, which was the longest putt by anyone at the event held at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pa.
Knowing he was only one stroke ahead of Robert MacIntyre and two ahead of Viktor Hovland, Spaun went for it all.

That was unbelievable. That putt helped Spaun finish -1 for the tournament.

Spaun made 137 feet of putts over the final seven holes. His putt on 18 was the longest of them all. He was able to get the win despite catching one of the worst breaks of the final round.
