John Daly has been chain-smoking cigarettes all week at the British Open, so it makes sense that he would come up with innovative ways to dispose of the butts.
Like, for example, when Daly tossed the remainder of a cigarette in front of his golf ball while he was warming up on Friday and smoked it — pun intended — down the driving range.
Daly is absolutely killing it at St. Andrews this week, and his golf game hasn’t been bad, either. He shot a 1-under 71 in his opening round on Thursday. The impressive performance came after he wore Yankees-themed pants and took a drag from his cigarette during an interview and provided this fantastic quote about working out.
