Jordan Spieth, girlfriend Annie Verret were high school sweethearts

If you didn’t know who Jordan Spieth was before the Masters began on Thursday, you do now. And if you don’t know the woman behind the man, you should.

The 21-year-old budding superstar’s girlfriend is Annie Verret. The two met in high school and have been dating ever since. In addition to being incredibly easy on the eyes, Verret is also very bright. She graduated from Texas Tech in December, where she carried a 4.0 GPA and made the Dean’s List.

They say behind every great man is an even better woman. Spieth met his better half in high school, and it sounds like he has been wise to hang onto her.
