Rickie Fowler bought beer for media after hitting hole-in-one

Rickie Fowler certainly knows how to get on the good side of the people who cover him for a living.

On his final hole of the day, in the first round of the Quicken Loans National, Rickie Fowler hit a hole-in-one to finish the round at four under par.

Understandably, Fowler was in a good mood afterward and decided to send a couple a cold ones to the media tent. If you’re a fan of Miller Lite or Bud Light, you’re probably giving the gesture a thumbs up. If not, well, you’re probably thinking the media didn’t get anything to write home about.

Either way, the temperature in Gainesville, Virginia reached near 90 degrees on Thursday so I would imagine the beer didn’t go to waste.
