Sergio Garcia entered Sunday as the leader at the 2017 Masters, and the Spaniard was looking to give himself an early wedding gift.
Garcia and his girlfriend, Angela Akins, announced back in January that they are engaged. Accoridng to The Sun, the couple will be getting married shortly after the Open Championship in July.

“We’re both very excited about the future, what the future holds, and I think being comfortable in your private life is a good thing,” Garcia said of his relationship with Akins. “To have no worries about anything, when you’re out there is great, as long as you’re still hungry and you still want to achieve things.”
Akins, a former Golf Channel reporter, is a Texas native and has gotten Garcia into the Longhorns.

Garcia capturing the first major of his career would surely make the 37-year-old and his bride-to-be that much happier.
