Things have turned out just fine for Jenny Dell since NESN demoted her and she decided to leave the network. On Monday night, Boston Red Sox third baseman Will Middlebrooks proposed to Dell. She said yes.
After popping the question, Middlebrooks took Dell to a surprise engagement party where her family and friends were waiting. She posted the photo you see above with the caption “best night of my life” and also shared a photo of the ring and video from the party.
This past offseason, NESN announced that Dell would be relieved from her duties as Red Sox sideline reporter. The decision was almost certainly made because of her relationship with Middlebrooks. Dell stayed with the network for a while on “desk duty” before accepting a job as a sideline reporter for the NFL on CBS this upcoming season.
