Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers offered some more lore about his mystery wife Brittani in a new podcast appearance.
In an appearance on the “Not Just Football” podcast, Rodgers revealed that he first met Brittani in 2017, even before his well-publicized romances with Danica Patrick and Shailene Woodley. He said that he had long regretted not asking her to stay before she traveled to Europe, and that her departure impacted him in his ensuing relationships.
“I met my wife in 2017,” Rodgers said, via Olivia Evans of E! News. “At the time, she was leaving the states and going back to Europe and my biggest regret is not begging her to stay or just, like, proposing right there.
“That sent me into a tailspin. I was emotionally unavailable for those seven or eight years because I’d met the person that was going to change my life. After that, I just poured everything into football.”
Rodgers said that Brittani even became engaged to someone else before they finally came back together. In the meantime, he said his relationship with Patrick had “zero intimacy” and that there had been “nothing there,” while he contended his relationship with Woodley was never as serious as she had made it seem.
Rodgers first revealed his marriage in June of 2025, and has only offered minor details here and there since then. He has credited her with changing his life, and even said she had been a factor in his recent reconciliation with his long-estranged parents. Still, we know nothing about her identity beyond her first name, and Rodgers has indicated that he intends to keep it that way.
As for Rodgers’ exes, his comments were not exactly complimentary. On the other hand, they had some negative things to say about him as well after the end of their relationships.
