The Bachelorette, Emily Maynard, reportedly caught sending ‘explicit text messages’ to Matt Leinart (Pictures)

Those of you who watch “The Bachelorette” (while I feel badly for you) are likely familiar with Emily Maynard. The most recent season of the show, Season 8, ended with Maynard choosing Jef Holm as her fiance. According to a report from Us Weekly, Maynard and Holm got into an “explosive fight” during a recent family vacation after Maynard was caught exchanging explicit text messages with another man. Now, the magazine is claiming that man was Matt Leinart.

The report also claims Holm had a conversation with his ex-girlfriend Kaylee Shepherd, who said he told her the story about Maynard and the Raiders quarterback is true.

“He said the story was 100 percent accurate,” Shepherd insisted. “When she put her phone down, (Jef) picked it up and read through everything … Jef said, ‘It was that pro football guy … She strung me along and was talking to another guy the whole time!'”

Believe it or not, this isn’t even Leinart’s first time allegedly getting involved with the star of the ABC show. It was the same story, different Bachelorette two years back. The good thing for Leinart here is that news like this keeps him somewhat relevant. The 29-year-old has been a major disappointment since winning the Heisman Trophy at USC and being drafted in the first round, so any news is good news. At least, that’s how I feel about it. He would probably disagree.
