Peyton Manning’s son Marshall looks set to keep the family tradition of quarterbacking alive and well based on a new video.
Marshall Manning took part in the Music City Mayhem 7-on-7 event in Murfreesboro, Tenn. on Saturday, and video has emerged of one of his throws. Prep Redzone Tennessee’s Shayne Pickering, who captured the video, said Manning “has shown good velocity and anticipation the entire day” and “has taken another step forward into his development.”
In the video, the 14-year-old hits his receiver in stride with a solid throw. Notably, he is wearing No. 16, the same number his father wore at Tennessee.

Obviously, Manning is a long way away from college, much less the NFL. He will be a high school freshman this fall at Baylor School in Chattanooga.
This is not the first time the younger Manning has garnered attention for his abilities at a young age. Last year, he certainly looked the part when throwing to star NFL wide receivers at the Pro Bowl Games.
