5-year-old sends Sidney Crosby adorable letter (Picture)

A 5-year-old girl sent Sidney Crosby an absolutely adorable letter to wish him well after he was hit by a puck in the mouth over the weekend.

The letter states:

Sidney Crosby

I am sorry you got hit by a puck.

I hope the tooth fairy brings you a dollar.

The arrow instructs Crosby to flip to the back of the page where the young girl wrote: From Makenzie. Her mother says her daughter’s name was too long to fit on the front.

The girl’s mother, Wendy Roskwitalski, shared a picture of the letter with ESPN via Facebook. She says that her daughter also colored a picture for Crosby which they mailed to him.

Crosby lost some teeth when he was hit by a deflected puck last Saturday. He was later diagnosed with a broken jaw for which he had surgery. Though he is out indefinitely and currently on an all-liquid diet, a great letter like that has to lift his spirits.

Between this letter and the ones sent to Brandon Jacobs and Kyle Williams, we have seen many times over that young sports fans are often the best.
