
The Columbus Blue Jackets pulled off the unthinkable, sweeping the 62-win Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and then they gloated about it.
After taking a 3-0 lead in the series, Columbus came out looking to end things on Tuesday night. They got out to an early 2-0 lead and ended up winning 7-3 to break out the brooms. Those running the team’s Twitter account were sure to let everyone know it too by sending this tweet:

That’s savage. But when you sweep the President’s Trophy winner, you have a right to do it.

As for Columbus, they insist they are not done yet. Next up they take on the winner of the Bruins-Maple Leafs series.
