Carrie Underwood offers her national anthem services to Golden Knights
Carrie Underwood’s husband may have officially played his last game in the 2018 NHL playoffs, but the award-winning country singer is willing to sing the national anthem for a new team in the next round.
After the Winnipeg Jets defeated Mike Fisher’s Nashville Predators in Game 7 on Thursday night, Underwood said she is jumping on the bandwagon of the Las Vegas Knights. She also offered to sing the anthem before one of the team’s home games.
And I’ll also say, until next season, I am officially a @GoldenKnights fan! I’ll enjoy seeing them make a little history!!

The Knights seem happy to have Underwood as their newest fan, and they sound open to having her perform “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
There must be something in the water in Vegas….

Even Carnell Johnson, who is usually in charge of anthem duties at T-Mobile Arena before Knights games, is willing to share the playoff spotlight with Carrie.
Hey @carrieunderwood I'll take O Canada if you take The Star Spangled Banner. We have to be ready for some audience participation though… #GoKnightsGo #VegasBorn #NationalAnthem

With the Predators officially eliminated from Stanley Cup contention, we won’t get to enjoy some of the hilarious tweets Underwood has been known to send during the playoffs. Fortunately, the Knights may open the door for us to still enjoy her voice.
