Keith Tkachuk had a great warning for his sons ahead of the Olympics.
Tkachuk’s sons, Matthew and Brady, are both representing Team USA in men’s hockey at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy. NBC ran a segment ahead of the country’s quarterfinals game against Sweden. In the feature, Tkachuk talked about how proud he was of his sons for being able to make the team and represent the country at the Olympics. Keith even signed a photo for both sons, along with a humorous message that contained a warning.
“Matthew and Brady: gold or you guys are out of the will,” Keith’s note to them said.
Everyone recognized that Keith was just joking, but they all appreciated the humor.
Both Brady and Matthew have been playing for the US in international play since they were youths. Matthew began with the developmental team in 2013, and Brady joined in 2015. They both helped the US win medals in the World Junior Championships. Keith helped the US win a silver medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics. He also won gold in the 1996 World Cup.
Keith has been in attendance for the games in Italy to cheer on his sons.
