The Nashville Predators fan tradition of throwing a catfish onto the ice made its way to Colorado.
A catfish was hurled onto the ice at the Pepsi Center in Denver during the second period of Game 3 between the Avalanche and Predators on Monday night.

The Predators were down 4-0 at the time, leading many to suspect the fan who smuggled it in just got tired of holding onto it. The Tennesseean also speculated that a fan nicknamed “Catfish Jake” had tossed the fish. He appeared to confirm their suspicion via Twitter.

Catfish Jake did the same thing last year in Pittsburgh and was lucky to avoid charges.
