Stanley Cup trophy was late to Game 6 because of traffic/weather
When the Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup after beating the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-0 in Game 6 on Monday, there was only one thing missing: the actual trophy. Seriously.
The actual Stanley Cup did not arrive at the United Center until after the end of the game, reportedly because of traffic and weather issues.
Stanley Cup is not in the building right now. On its way. Weather-related/traffic issues. Should be here soon, I'm told.

The trophy finally made it into the building and was walked out onto the ice by its handlers, where the Blackhawks players celebrated with it as a team.
Chicago has now won three Stanley Cups in six seasons.
