
The Vegas Golden Knights tied Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Thursday at two after a controversial goal.
Vegas’ Tomas Tatar was given an assist after his shot towards the next deflected off David Perron’s skate and past Braden Holtby for a goal.

There was a question about whether or not there was goalie interference given that there was contact with Holtby. The Capitals decided to challenge the goal.

The officials reviewed the Perron goal and let it stand to tie the game at two. Vegas later scored again in the second to go up 3-2.
After a scoreless first period, the teams combined for five goals in the second period.
