Report: Adnan Virk fired by ESPN for leaking info to media
If you are watching ESPN programming in the future and wondering where Adnan Virk went, here’s your answer.
According to the New York Post’s Andrew Marchand, Virk was fired by the network for repeatedly leaking confidential information to the media. ESPN apparently conducted an investigation and Virk did not cooperate.
An ESPN spokesperson confirmed to Marchand that Virk no longer worked for the company but did not give a reason. The report says Virk was escorted off the Bristol campus on Friday.
Virk, 40, had been an ESPN host on college football, college basketball and baseball programming, hosting “Baseball Tonight.” Virk has not tweeted since Thursday. His Twitter profile still includes ESPN in its name.
