In a bit of a surprise, CBS Sports reporter Allie LaForce will be leaving the network.
LaForce will be replaced by Jamie Erdhal on college football sidelines, according to Richard Deitsch of the Athletic.
CBS Sports plans to name Jamie Erdhal as its new SEC on CBS reporter today. Told CBS and Allie LaForce could not come to a new deal and LaForce is leaving CBS Sports. LaForce had been with CBS Sports since October 2012.

LaForce had become rather well known as CBS Sports’s lead sideline reporter, appearing prominently particularly during college football broadcasts, as well as college basketball. She has also done sideline work for Turner Sports, a role in which she briefly courted some controversy earlier in the NBA playoffs.
Erdhal will shift over to college after doing sideline reporting for the NFL on CBS.
