ESPN has suspended anchor Jemele Hill for two weeks over a second violation of the network’s social media policy.
The network said in a statement that all employees had been notified that individual tweets could impact negatively on the network, and as this was Hill’s second offense, a suspension was necessary.

It is unclear precisely which tweets of Hill’s led to this suspension. On Sunday, she had suggested that those who disagreed with Jerry Jones’s stance on national anthem protests should boycott advertisers.

Hill found herself in some controversy last month for calling President Donald Trump a white supremacist, though that set of tweets did not get her suspended at that time.
