Report: Conor McGregor’s friends trashed hotel suite, left laughing gas cans

Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor and his friends did some pretty serious partying in Liverpool last week, and the mess left behind at a hotel suite might provide some indication as to how hard they went.

A report from The Sun claims McGregor had to hire specialists to clean the presidential suite at the Hilton Liverpool after the place was left trashed. McGregor’s friends supposedly left shattered glass and 20 laughing gas canisters behind, though there is no indication the UFC star himself was using nitrous oxide.

“There were canisters all over the floor, smashed glass and food lying about,” a source told The Sun. “They damaged sofas and left cig butts and his Irish flag. (McGregor) got people in there to clean because of the level of damage. It’s just been carnage. Just full-on partying.”

Some photos The Sun shared show the alleged damage, which is said to have amounted to thousands of dollars. It’s unclear if McGregor was present at the time most of the chaos took place. Earlier in the week, the 28-year-old bragged on social media about how much he was living it up.

McGregor’s next UFC fight has not yet been scheduled, and UFC president Dana White said this week that any potential fight between McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr. is nowhere near happening. However, we did hear some good news that indicates there won’t be as many hurdles as some initially believed.

In many ways, McGregor is trying to be the Mayweather of mixed martial arts. The photos of him standing outside private jets and holding piles of cash in his lap are proof of that.
