Miesha Tate beat Holly Holm at UFC 196 by submission in the final round on Saturday night in Las Vegas, somewhat screwing up the UFC’s future plans.
Tate caught Holm by surprise by shooting on her and taking her down with about two minutes left in the fight. She quickly went in for a submission and tried to get a choke. Holm tried to defend it but when she flipped Tate over, it just made it harder on herself. Tate had the choke locked and Holm went out cold.

Big John McCarthy stepped in as soon as Holm went limb following the submission, giving Tate the win at 3:30 in the final round.
