Simone Biles shared some photos on social media over the summer that led to speculation about her having undergone plastic surgery, and the Olympic champion seems to have confirmed the rumors.
Biles shared a video on her Instagram story Wednesday that showed her jumping on a trampoline. The 11-time Olympic medalist said she was in the backyard at her new house attempting a flip for the first time in a year. Not surprisingly, Biles had flawless execution.
Many people were focused on the caption more than the video itself. The written text said the same thing Biles said in the video, but there was one extra detail. Biles wrote that she was doing her first flip in a year at her new house “with new (cherries emoji).”

The cherries emoji is often used to refer to breasts. That is almost certainly what Biles meant and was likely her way of confirming that she had a boob job.
Back in July, Biles shared some bikini photos on social media while she appeared to be on vacation with her husband Jonathan Owens in Belize. Fans immediately noticed that there was something much different about the way her body looked.
The bigger (no pun intended) question is whether the apparent surgical procedure is an indication that Biles does not plan to compete at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. While she has yet to announce a decision, it was notable that Biles said in the video that she had not attempted a flip in a year. If she opted to make a change like that to her body, that could be a sign that the 28-year-old is done with competitive gymnastics.
Biles competed in the 2016, 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games and has taken home 7 gold medals, two silvers and two bronzes. She has also won 30 World Championship medals.
