DeShawn Stevenson charges $4.50 for use of his ATM
DeShawn Stevenson, who was already known for having an Abraham Lincoln neck tattoo, became an even bigger urban legend when he shared a picture on Instagram that revealed he has an ATM in his kitchen. The Nets guard confirmed to TMZ that he does in fact have an ATM in his home, and he explained all the fees and charges associated with it.
TMZ says Stevenson paid $3,500 for the ATM and that he charges $4.50 per usage. He says the machine holds $20,000 and he refills it 4-6 times a year.
Even though DeShawn’s in-home ATM is the first many of us have seen, he reportedly got the idea from Rob Dyrdek of the MTV reality show “Rob & Big.” That fact doesn’t at all take away from the awesomeness of it.
But how much money are DeShawn and his friends squandering if they’re going through $100,000 in cash per year? Are you kidding? Don’t they have plastic?
